My deepest condolences |

My deepest condolences. May these few words from the Holy Scriptures bring you comfort in your time of grief...
John 11:32-45
32 And so Mary, when she arrived where Jesus was and caught sight of him, fell at his feet, saying to him: “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 Jesus, therefore, when he saw her weeping and the Jews that came with her weeping, groaned in the spirit and became troubled; 34 and he said: “Where have YOU laid him?” They said to him: “Lord, come and see.” 35 Jesus gave way to tears. 36 Therefore the Jews began to say: “See, what affection he used to have for him!” 37 But some of them said: “Was not this [man] that opened the eyes of the blind man able to prevent this one from dying?”
38 Hence Jesus, after groaning again within himself, came to the memorial tomb. It was, in fact, a cave, and a stone was lying against it.39 Jesus said: “TAKE the stone away.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to him: “Lord, by now he must smell, for it is four days.”40 Jesus said to her: “Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Therefore they took the stone away. Now Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 True, I knew that you always hear me; but on account of the crowd standing around I spoke, in order that they might believe that you sent me forth.” 43 And when he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: “Laz´a·rus, come on out!” 44The [man] that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: “Loose him and let him go.”
45 Therefore many of the Jews that had come to Mary and that beheld what he did put faith in him;

Rest in Peace Papa |
April 12, 2013 |
Papa, I last saw you in December and last spoke to you in February, little did I know that I will never see you nor speak to you again. You were a legend that will truly be missed. You were always ready and willing to help and advice anyone that comes near you. I remembered you trying to look for me a job when I spoke to you in February and you laughed so hard when I reminded you that I haven't moved to Cameroon yet and that I am here to visit. Oh Papa, I'll never hear that laughter of yours again but I'll cherish it in my heart forever. Pa, you are a man of integrity and your kindness to everyone you meet is worth emulating. I will forever miss you and cherish the moment we shared together. Rest in Perfect Peace papa

Mom, Titus, Joseph, Philip, Peter, Paul,Angel, Shushsu,
I know it is a difficult period for you. It is for us too. I remember when we all were young and looked on to Paps for advice. I wish it was a dream that he is gone. Well, as it is the will of God, let the wheel turn. I pray that you find courage to carry on at this difficult time. We will all always miss Lawyer Adjua, but we are happy and proud he lived a well deserved and blessed life. May the Lord receive him in his heavenly kingdom, and I know he will prepare a better place for all of you as he did in this world. We will always miss you Sir.

A question answered, blessings shared |
April 9, 2013 |
Dear Papa,
Last month, you asked aquestion about what you would leave behind to the upcoming generations. In hindsight, I see it more as a rhetorical question: you needed no answers.
I am honoured to have known you and shared some of the blessings you passed on to others. Why I think you needed no answers lies in the way you lived your life. You left behind the lessons of
1- True friendship being of the same worth as blood relations (your friendship with my father);
2- True friendship knows no end, in life as well as after life.
3- True friendship is blind to ethereal things such as looks, wealth and social status.
Yours was a life well lived. Goodbye and so long.
Abang

A Life well leaved |

Dear Ange/Peter,
The pain is huge, I understand the pain because i have gone through same. Because he was a great hero and lived a very good life, wipe your tears, look into his foot prints and maintain them. The short time he lived with us in Yaounde was a great favour to me and my family. My son as young as he is will never forget him. Five years old he was at that time called papa "Honourable"
Accept Our heart felt condolences.

To our dear uncle-Andy Edjua:
We were priveledged to have known you and we know it was mutual for you as well.
You were a father to us, even more so after our own father left us at an early age.
Like Ula said:" an era has come to an end!".
You were always there for us, with so much foresight.
Annette just reminded me that you drove us to the hospital in Douala to see our dying father, when no one else thought of that. It turned out to be the last time we saw him.
You are a legend in our minds, one of Cameroon's pioneer attorneys - a true counsellor at law and life. You were always ready to advise those who would listen. You were always full of words - meaningful words. So much wisdom could not have eminated from one person. This is all evident from the sons you raised-each one just as talkative but very successful in their own light. Every girl should be lucky to have a father or father-in-law like you.
You were as genuine as they come and as we have grown older, we have appreciated you even more. How could we have known in those years that all your advise would turn out to be life lessons? Maybe we would have listened more, instead of giggling and disappearing into the bedrooms when we saw you come up the hill.
You were so pragmatic, always teaching; you had a story for every life's event.
In our minds, you will always live on. You were a true gift to those of us who knew you closely.
Every woman should be as lucky as your wife, who had you for such a long time. But of course the longer you have someone, the more painful it is to lose them. So aunty take heart. We are praying for you.
Uncle, thank you once again for all your words, your generosity, your wisdom. We will be sure to carry on your legacy. I must apologize fot not naming one of my sons after you. Maybe the next one!!!! Adieu
Modesta Tako, on behalf of the Tako family.

My dear in law
We already miss you. You have always welcomed us with your very kind, warm and generous hospitality whenever we were in Mamfe.
We were deeply moved, when, despite your deteriorating physical health, you came to the buriel of my late senior brother inTali and generously assisted us.
Little did we know that when you insisted on seeing my wife before her departure for Nigeria that you wanted to tell her last good-bye.
May you travel in peace and may your gentle soul rest in peace.
Dr L.T. Mbuagbaw.
